Description:
 Explore the art of digital photography in an 8-week course with teaching artist Mark Nowak. This free eight-week workshop series is designed for both beginner and experienced digital photographers and is especially for adults age 55 and over. Participants will learn both the technical and artistic aspects of digital photography, including camera controls, lighting, vantage point, frame and creative controls.

Mark Nowak is the lead photographer of Image Vision Studios. He has taught beginners photography courses for the Elyria Arts Depot, the Lorain County Parks Department and Cuyahoga County Public Library.

Prerequisite: Participants should bring their own camera and any other photography equipment needed to take photographs, such as instruction manuals, tripod. lens, flash and diffuser.

This workshop series is free, but registration is required. Interested participants must be able to attend all eight workshops from June 29th to August 17th. At the end of the eight-week series, participants will show their finished work at a special photography showcase on Saturday, August 19th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
